I received my January Glossybox this morning so as always I wanted to share the contents with you and give my opinions.
The theme of the box was New Years Resolutions and each product came with its own resolution.
The first product this month was the Batiste Dry Shampoo which came with the resolution “I will try a brand new haircare range.” For me this won’t be brand new as I have used these dry shampoos many times and have always loved them. They smell good and produce brilliant results. I haven’t used them as much since having short hair as my style requires a wet wash daily in order to style but with me now growing my hair out, this will be a useful product to have back in my dresser drawer. You can grab one for £4.25.
Secondly this month we received the Wilkinson Sword Eyebrow shaper which consists of three tools for, obviously, shaping your brows. I won’t be using this yet because I properly over-plucked and am trying to grow them a bit before i attempt to reshape them. Thank Goodness for a brow pencil. If you want to pick one up, they’re just £3.99!
The Hask Conditioning Treatment was the next item I pulled out this month. Its quite a chunky sachet so with my short hair I think I will get a few uses out of this one. It is an Argan oil product, which in the past I have found to be very good for the hair. This particular one is just £2.49 a go so it doesn’t break the bank.
Next up is the 417 foaming gel which is the one I am most looking forward to trying. I love a good fash wash and this one claims to use dead sea minerals, rare plant extracts and vitamins to leave your skin feeling fresh, clean and soft. I will do a separate review on this one once I have given it the once over. If you want to buy, you can click the above link and grab yours for £22.71 or £13.31 for the mini.
Finally I received a tube of Avant Deluxe Hyaluronic Acid Vivifying face and eye night cream which retails at £98! So I’m definately hoping it will be worth that! It claims to have a beautiful scent and smoothes the skin without creating a shine. I love to indulge in a good night cream so look out for a review of this one coming soon.
On the whole, I wasn’t overly enthralled with this months box and given the choice would have swapped out all but the face cream and cleanser. However, they’re not the worst products in the world and I will get some use out of them so for my tenner I think I’ve done OK.
Did you receive this months box? What did you think? If you’re not already a Glossybox subscriber you can use my link to get 10% off, which I think is a pretty good deal, (plus you’ll give me a little off my next box too ;)) Just click THIS LINK to get started! You will also be given very short surveys after each box which give you further money off.
Thanks for reading guys and gals, pop your thoughts in the comments, I’d love to hear from you.
